6″ X 9″ Accessory Zipper Pouch with Wristlet
The Accessory Zipper Pouch and all other bags and pouches are sewn from cotton/cotton-blend fabrics that once belonged to a prolific seamstress and were passed along to me.
All bags and pouches are lined with high-quality, light-colored fabric. I find that a light-colored lining helps the contents to be more easily seen instead of running the risk of the contents hiding in dark corners. Sandwiched between the outside fabric and lining is a batting that helps to stabilize the bag.
The corners of the bags are squared off, which along with the batting, helps the bag or pouch to “stand” instead of falling over. Finishing off the bags is a stylish wristlet of matching or coordinating fabric that is attached with a lobster clasp to the zipper. This allows the bag to be carried more easily as well as using the zipper more easily.
A friend shared a video of a toddler opening and closing a zipper pouch, demonstrating how easily it can be done. It’s very likely that someone having issues with arthritis could also be able to open and close these pouches with ease; sometimes it’s harder for arthritic fingers to grasp a zipper tab.
All fabrics have been washed before the bags and pouches are sewn. This helps to remove any sizing that may be in the fabric along with pre-shrinking the fabric. Shrinking is fairly common with cotton fabrics so we want the possible shrinking to happen BEFORE any bags are made!
The pouches can hold cosmetics, craft accessories, essential oils, feminine products, first aid items, snacks, tech/phone accessories, etc. (Personal products not included)
