Large Project Bag, Purple “Moths”
For crafters, the bags are excellent to carry projects, yarn, needles, thread and can be accompanied by a small bag to hold necessary tools. For the traveler, the bags can help organize packing clothing and toiletries.
These project/organizational bags are sewn with attention to detail, using high-quality, repurposed fabric to produce a beautiful, strong, and practical accessory to help carry whatever it is you need to have handy.
All bags and pouches are lined with a piece of high-quality light-colored fabric. I find that a light-colored lining helps the contents to be more easily seen instead of running the risk of the contents hiding in dark corners. Sandwiched between the outside fabric and lining is a batting that helps to stabilize the bag.
The corners of the bags are squared off, which along with the batting, helps the bag or pouch to “stand” instead of falling over. Finishing off the bags is a stylish wristlet of matching or coordinating fabric which is attached with a lobster clasp to the zipper. This allows the bag to be carried more easily as well as using the zipper more easily. A recent customer posted a video of her toddler opening and closing their pouch, proof that even a small child can use it!
All fabrics have been washed before the bags and pouches are sewn. This helps to remove any sizing (and its fragrance) that may be in the fabric along with pre-shrinking the fabric. Shrinking is fairly common with cotton fabrics so we want the possible shrinking to happen BEFORE any bags are made!
All bags are hand-sewn by me in our pet-free, smoke-free, and covid-free home.
