Giving new life to fabrics.
Minimalist, Sustainable, Classic Bags
FAQs
Q – Where does the fabric come from?
A – Most fabrics are reclaimed from carefully sourced destash collections — materials that are still in excellent condition but no longer being used. I also incorporate remnants from my own sewing practice.
All fabrics are washed before sewing to ensure they are clean and pre-shrunk.
Q – Why don’t you add the handle to the side of the bag like I’ve seen on other bags?
A – Each bag includes a wristlet secured to the zipper with a lobster clasp. This design makes the zipper easier to grasp and open, especially for those who experience hand discomfort such as arthritis.
Attaching the handle directly to the zipper improves accessibility while keeping the silhouette clean and minimal.
Q – All the linings look like they’re white, why not use coordinating colors?
A – I use light-colored linings intentionally for both sustainability and function.
Many linings are made from reclaimed sheets that were in excellent condition but no longer needed. Repurposing them keeps quality fabric out of landfills and gives it new purpose.
A light interior also makes it much easier to see what’s inside your bag. Small tools like scissors, stitch markers, or tapestry needles won’t disappear into a dark print — everything stays visible and accessible.
